Recommended attachment approach:

1.  Clean both parts thoroughly
Degrease the center bore of the stator core and the outer diameter of the blue base post with isopropyl alcohol or acetone. Any oil residue will kill the bond.

2.  Use the right epoxy

•  Best options: JB Weld ExtremeHeat, Loctite EA 9460, or any high-temp epoxy rated for at least 300–400 °F continuous.

•  Avoid regular 5-minute epoxy or super glue (CA) — they soften or fail under motor heat and vibration.

3.  Assembly technique

•  Apply a thin, even coat of epoxy only on the mating surfaces (the post of the blue base and the ID of the core).

•  Press the core fully home against the shoulder.

•  Wipe away any excess immediately.

•  Let it cure fully (usually 24 hours) before assembling the motor.
